… Started with a lovely Saturday ride in perfect temperatures. Tomorrow, Sunday, the regular Sunday ride leaves at 9am from the Bean Scene on Dickson. Michael is doing a modified Green Mountain ride; see post below.
If you are up for a holiday ride (40-50km), meet us at 10am on Monday at Kelowna Cycle.

On Sunday July 07. we are going on very nice ride to Mabel Lake. We leave from Coldstream to Lumby to Mabel Lake and back, about 120km. We will meet at Starbucks at the mall by Chapters at 08:15am or in Coldstream on Kalamalka Rd at Lavista Park at 09:00am.
Hope that the weather will cooperate. There is a small store with some basics at Mabel Lake. There is also the option of starting in Lumby for those that would prefer a 70 km round trip; we would still meet at Starbucks or Lavista Park as per the email below.

Just to eliminate any confusion that might have started: We will continue to ride at 9am from the Bean Scene on Dickson (Landmark). Bernard is more “parking challenged” than before, and our new start location is safe, it eliminates the highway crossings, it has plenty of space to park as well as have coffee after (inside and outside). Weather permitting (contact Michael at 250-769-3029), there will be a Green Mountain Ride on Sunday, June 9. The ride is about 90km. Meeting point will be at Starbucks in West Kelowna on Louie Drive at 8 am, or in Penticton at the Skaha Lake parking lot for the 9 am start.
The registration for the Salmon Arm Century Ride has started (today, at 6 am). Just like the OSCR ride, it fills up quickly so if you’re interested in riding it this year (September 14), be quick to register. You can choose between distances ranging from 10km to 100km. All are very scenic!

The Tuesday TT and Thursday Crit prices are now $5 per session. If there is a light rain the Crit will often go ahead. The TT is less likely to happen if it is raining. For questions, please email [email protected].

Just a reminder that we are now starting the Sunday Beez rides from the Bean Scene at the new Landmark location (lots of space, inside and outside, lots of parking, no dangerous highway crossings).
Up until today (April 28) we still had the later start time (brrrr) but starting on May 5, we will go back to a 9am start.
So: 9am, May 5, Bean Scene Headquarters, Landmark parkade.
