Need Help From The Cycling Community!

Dear cyclists:

I know that some of you might already be involved with the Kelowna Apple Triathlon in one way or another and we appreciate the help. Right now it’s crunch time and we don’t have enough bike course volunteers to open the course this coming weekend (for Sunday races). So we need the support OF the Kelowna cycling community so that we can put on this event FOR the community.

We would really like to see the cycling groups out there on the race course for the Kelowna Apple Triathlon, watching the race and enjoying the action. Two cycling buddies can team up and work an intersection together! Volunteers can easily sign up at http://volunteer.appletriathlon.com/ and select one of the bike course shifts that are listed. There is a volunteer appreciation party next Wednesday with food/drinks and great draw prizes (Big White weekends, plane tickets) as well as a special draw prize just for bike course marshals (beer for a year!).

We really need all (Kelowna cycling) hands on deck now 🙂
