Shaun kindly shared this video with the Beez … Cyclists and BC Law.
Just a quick check-in to see how everybody is doing! Hope you’re staying safe and positive. We will get through this one too! It’s great to see everybody outside being responsible and distanced, and it seems to be working.
Remember to take care of your health by going outside – to replenish mind and body, and to avoid Vitamin D deficiency (which weakens the immune system)! Responsible/safe walking, cycling, etc. are all good to keep you healthy … whatever your own choice may be.
If you want to connect with 1 or 2 other Beez for an activity (socially distanced of course), feel free to reach out to them directly; email me if you’re missing contact information for a friend. There will be no group rides or hikes for now š Also, please use the comments section below to let us know how you are doing, whether you need help with anything (please don’t hesitate to ask!) and what keeps you strong during this time.
To all the Beez that are isolating, distancing or quarantining: I hope you are all doing well! I know some started getting out on your bikes but for now, we cannot encourage any group rides!
I wanted to send some links to wonderful films from the Banff Film Festival … Just in case you have some indoor time on your hands š
I’m also attaching the full list of films available online that aired within the Banff Film Festival over the years. Some real gems in there!
Stay healthy!!
Effective today, for any questions about the blog, or if you would like to share something with the other Beez, please email Mel at meldsaari@gmail.com

Ski season has started so I wanted to say thanks to all the Beez that came out to hike with us this “shoulder” season! See you on the ski trails!
Many of us go to ski at Nordic both weekend days on a regular basis so hopefully we see some of you there (we usually start skiing at 10am). Nordic also has wonderful snowshoe trails, if you don’t ski. Having a hot drink at the cabin after is always a great reward!
Another fantastic hike this past Sunday in Rose Valley!
And … since the skiing is not great yet, why not do another hike! Or ski Saturday and hike Sunday!
9AM Bean Scene for coffee and carpooling, 10AM Lebanon Creek parking lot!
Shaun will be taking us onto the Rose Valley trails!
Meet at the Bean Scene at 9am for coffee and to carpool to the start.
Meeting point on the West side for November 24 … meet here at 10am!
