Register your bike!

It’s Bike to Work week, and with the current focus on cycling, various organizations are encouraging you to register your bike online to help in case of theft.

It’s quick and easy: Go to project529.com and save information about your bike that will be critical in case of theft … color/model, serial number, value, pictures, etc. Add as much or as little as you want (keep in mind what will be helpful if the bike disappears for police and insurance).

Over 2000 Okanagan residents have already done so (including me). Bike theft sucks but if the police and insurance have enough information, it can often have a good ending!
