This might not be directly cycling related but falls into the general fit-healthy category. Personally, I was quite excited to see that the only vegetarian restaurant in Kelowna, LAKE TAI (previously on Pandosy, now the big SOPA construction site) has reopened on 1958 Kirschner Road. The food is as excellent as before (the owner cooked for the rich and famous in Taiwan before moving to Canada), has interesting mock meat options (sweet & sour, veggie steak, etc), the service is friendly and fast, and the prices very reasonable. It’s a healthy and yummy option for a nice dinner – expect to spend about $30 for two people. If you try it for the first time, let me know what you think!

With the temperatures getting a lot warmer, I imagine more and more people showing up for the Sunday Beez rides now … 10am downtown at the Bean Scene! Still some snow left for us “diehard” xc skiers 🙂
