Starting June 3, 2024, cyclists, pedestrians and other vulnerable road users will have new protections under BC’s new vulnerable road user law which requires drivers to give space when passing. Under the new law drivers will be required to give cyclists at least 1 metre clearance when passing or face penalties. Click here for further details.
