Bob Perra Memorial Ride

To remember our good friend and fellow Killer Bee, Bob Perra , who passed away in May, 2022, we will once again ride his favourite cycling route (Lumby to Mable Lake).

The ride will start in Lumby at 10 AM on Sunday, June 4th and will be led by Michael Malkowski, Bob’s frequent cycling partner.  The starting point is the Super A Foods store located at 2040 Vernon Street in Lumby.  There is ample parking available in the Super A Foods lot.

The Lumby to Mable Lake ride is a very scenic, rolling, out and back route of approximately 70 km in total with no major hills.

Those wishing to carpool can meet in the parking lot near the Eco Centre in Mission Creek Park (Springfield and Benvolin) at 8:45 AM.

In case of wet weather this ride may be postponed and participants will be advised through this website.
