Mable Lake Ride

Ride to Mable Lake Provincial Park on Sunday, July 31
depending on the distance people would like to do, there will be two starting points:one in Coldstream just outside of Vernon which will be about 120km round trip, start time 9am from the tennis courts on Kalamalka Road just before Postill Road. We will ride the highway to Lumby and take the turnoff to Mable Lake.

Lumby for a round trip of 70km, start time 10am (notice new start time!), meet at the grocery store parking lot on the rhs as you come into Lumby.

There should be limited traffic on the road to Mable Lake as this road just goes to farms and the park, as we are riding in the middle of the long weekend people travelling to and from the park should be minimal. About half way between Lumby and Mable Lake, BC Hydro has a rest stop by the river which is a good place to stop for a snack. There are no large hills on this ride.

There is a small store at the park, but only the basics there for supplies: water, snacks…

I would like to get an idea of who will be coming with average speed and starting point, please let me know at . In the past we have had people interested but concerned they would not have someone of equivalent ability to ride with, I would like everyone to have a good time and be able to ride with someone.

Routes are below.
